This Monday sees the first round of the team Knockout cup, all teams should have
had the draw in my last mailing with result sheets. The four names should be put
in a hat and drawn out , The captains will then toss a coin to see who throws
first in sets 1 and 3. The Format will be 4 singles best of 5 legs and if the
set score becomes 2-2, a further toss of the coin will decide who throws first
in the team game, this being 1 leg of 1001. The winning captain must then notify
me by phone or email within 5 days, No result sheet is needed for this game.
Games to start 8.30pm as this is a new system for the first round. The winners
will go through to second round where it will be played down to a final at one
venue. Knockout cup rules will apply on this night.
